(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELtOEAU.) AUCKLAND, November 25. Mr J. L. Kelly, who was appointed by the Government to visit England and investigate tho prospects of extension of trade between the Dominion and the West of England, arrived jn Auckland by the Cornwall. Concerning the improvement of trade facilities. Mr Kelly thinks there should be a faster nnd more &equ<>n£ service from New Zealand, providing two boats per month, and, if possible, three during the dairy season. He also advocates tho reorganisation of tho Produce Commissioner's department and tlie appointment of commercial agents in the different distributing centres. His general impression is that it would be of mutual advantage to tho producer nnd consumer if a large part of the trade now going to London wero direrted to West Coast ports. Mr W. J. Kent, who is visiting the Dominion as the representative of the Corporation of Bristol for the purpose of enquiring into the extension of direct trade between New Zealand and Bristol, also arrived by the Cornwall.
