EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.
LINCOLN COLLEGE. The following is the result of the Utility Poultry Club's third egg-laying competition at Lincoln College to vember 22nd:—Boring the week 1017 eggs were laid, making the total to date 28,412. The best totals for the week were:—P. G. Brittan, Cashmere (White L&ghorne), 34; J. Tonge, Christchurch (White Leghorns). i 3; A. W. V.- Clarke, Halswell (Silver Wyandottes), 33; W. 0. Sail, Cust (White Leghorns). 32; G. Robinson, Christ-' church (White Leghorns), 32; R. W. H&wke, Papanui (\Nlhite Jfophorns), 31; W. A. Nixon, Ladbrooks (White Leghorns), 31; Mrs J. Bodson, Blenheim (White Leghorns), 29; J. J. Parker, Christohurch. (White Leghorns), 29; T. H. Holland, Palmerston North (Wliite Leghorns), 29. The beet aggrefates are:—Allen Petrie, Milton (White xjghorns), 799; Miss Rita Nixon, Burwood, (White Leghorns), 770; J. Tonge, Christchurch (White Leghorne), 759; W.
