A rery successful concert was held in the Schoolroom on Friday, in aid ot the Tennis Club. Songs were contributed by Ifra Miller, Miss Duyer, Messrs Miller, Hopwood, Gimson, Sid Gibha, Cow, Blackburne, N. Miller and J. MJcOraw; Mr and Mrs Miller sang a duet; and Mr Miller end Vern Miller eajn£ a comio duet in character; musical items Ifrere contributed by the Gibbs' family; Mrs Blackburne recited "The Revenge," and the Hinds Glee CBub» r-ger© very -(enjoy*" able glees and plantation songs. The performers were afterwards entertain* ed by Mrs Sneddon.
