LIEUT SHACKLETON'S MOVEMENTS
In the course of conversation. Mr A. Reid, manager of the Expedition, stated that Lieut. Shackletpn, who is coming by the s.s. India, i» duo to arrive at Fremantle on the 27th inst:, itt Adelaide on the Ist December, and comes overland to -Melbourne, lecturin, on • "December 3rd, to a large a*eemblage, Lord Xorthooto being one ot those to be present. In Sydney Mr Shackle ton is to deliver another lecture when Sir Harry Raweon will preside. He sails in the Maheno on th* 7th,_and Iβ due to at rive in Cbristchurch on the 12th preoc. "So f a? .as I knor," Mr Beid said, "it reste entirely .with the people of Chriatchurch whether Lieut. Shackleton will lecture here or not.
