FALL IN PRICES.
(Received November 22nd, 1 a.m.) There is widespread relief nnd rejoicing at th© settlement of the strike, which has eased the tension and sent down tho prices of produce and coal. The ferry services will resumo their normal running, and preparations are already being made for restarting work in the mines. It is a foregone conclusion that the miners' lodges will endorse the settlement. All that have so far voted support tho miners' Committee of Management and th© proposal that its chairman, Mr Bowling, should bo the expert representing tho miners on the proposed tribunal.
