ADMIRAL SIR F. L. McCLINTOCK. United Press Association— By Electrio Telegrsph—Copyright. LONDON, November 18. The death has taken place of Admiral Sir F. L. McClintock, discoverer of the fate of Sir John Franklin, retat 88 years. [Tho late Admiral Sir P. L. McClintock entered the Royal Navy in 1831. at tho age of twelve yours. He served in four Arctic voyages, nnd discovered the fato of Franklin's expedition in IBo'J. He received the Honorary Freedom of the City of London; was Commodore at Jamaica, 1865-1868; Admiral Superintendent, Portsmouth Dockyard 1872----1- and Commander-in-Chief North American and West Indian Station 1879-1882.]
