RANGIORA
Wheat—There hae been a quieter feeling in the •wheat market during the past week owing to outside indications pointing to more favourable prospects, but latest reports from London reporting an advance may further strengthen the market here. However, there ie very little offering, any lots, being small, and iv consequence it is difficult to give the true market values, which is nominal at 5s 6d to 5s 9d: Oats—Several lines of common to good feed, aggregating about 2500 bushels, ho.vc been sold at 3s 3d to 3s 4d <\n trucks, Rangiora, but good milling would command 3s 6d. Stocks in growers 'hands are about exhausted. Potatoes have lind to face a drooping market, with a decided drop in prioes, and the market in the meantime is demoralised at £5 to £6 for Up-to-Dates and Dements respectively. Peas and beans arc without change. Chaff has received good support at up to £5 for oatsheaf, ami 40s for oat straw. There is no alteration in other lines.
