THE RAILWAY SETTLEMENT.
TWO LABOUR VIEWS. TJnitM Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received November 15th, 9.56 p.m.) LONDON, November 15. Tho "Labour Leader" describes the railway settlement as a Sedan for the British trade union movement. Not only is it a virtual betrayal of the railwaymon'e agitation, but it erects formidable walJs against the possibility of any future movement to secure an advenco in wages for all grades.
The "Railway Review," tho organ of tho Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants says Mr Lloyd-George must bear the credit or discredit of tho settlement. With tho railwaymen it was largely "Hobson's choice." .
