MR CORTELYOU'S VIEWS,
(Received November loth, 10.13 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 15. iMr Corlelyou, Secretary of the Treasury, interviewed, said if the money now hoarded was restored to tho channels of trade, within 24 hours there would bo almost a complete resumption of business. He declined to legislate for currency reform until the proposals had been rigidly scrutinised. Mr Charles Barney, until lately president of tho Knickerbocker Trusty which suspended payment, has committed suicide.
