Campbell-.Bannerman suffered from a spasm at the heart, and for a timo thero was great danger. H o rallied satisfactorily. The doctors have ordered him a few days' rest. A meeting of Cabinet fixed for today was cancelled. King Edward, Queeyi Alexandra, and the Prince and Princess of Wales sent telegrams or sympathy.
