(BY OUR COMMERCIAL EDITOm.) : Tuesday Evening. There is very littl© doing in wheat, out m sympathy with outeide markete the tone is weaker. In the meantime millers arc holding off, except those who are really in want of supplies. The only sale reported is by a merchant of 200 sacks of Pearl, and the same quantity of Tuscan, at 6s f.o.b. The Jessie Craig is bringing over another shipment of wheat and flour from Victoria, made up of 1910 sacks of wheat and 1.500 sacks of flour from Geelong. The Wimmera also brought over 570 sacks of flour. Oateheaf chaff is firmer, and up to £6 5s has been paid. There is a fair quantity offering. A decided fall has taken place in potatoes, and £6 for Derwents and £5 for Up-fy>-Dates are the best offers to growers. The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at country stations, free of commission except where otherwise stated:— Wheat—Nominal at country stations. Oata—3s 6d at country stations. Peas (nominal) —Partridge, 4s 3d at country stations. Flour—£l4 per ton. Bran—£s 15s. Pollard—£6 10s. Oatmeal—£l7. Oatsheaf Chaff—Prime prompt, delivery, £6 to £6 5e at country stations. Potatoes —Up-to-I>ates £5, and Dorwente £6, at country stations. Dairy Produce—Cheese, factory 6d, dairy 5Jd to 5Jd. loaf cheese 6|d. Butter, factory 10§d, farmers' separator 9d, dairy Bd. Bacon, sides 81d. rolls 9d hams 9d. Honey, extracted, 4d per lb; wax, Is 2d per lb. Eggs, 10d per dozen.
