:—» . ■ The annual Birthday Sportt at Temuka, under the eu?pices of the Tenruka Bicycle Club were held on Monday in the Park ovai. Owing to the threatening state of the weather during the forenoon the attendance was ▼cry email. The sport was good, and some excellent finishes were witnessed. The Municipal Baud was in attendance, and played a programme of popular music. The sum of £40 w*3 taken a' tho gates, which represented •n attendance of about 1000.
