AQUATICS.
At a meeting of the committee of tho Union Rowing Club on Monday evening ,a special voto of thanks was passed to tho lady supporters of the club for presenting two mirrors for the social hall, and also to those ladies who assisted in the management of the club's "at homo" on opening day It was decided to hold a club picnic on Show J>ay, and a siib-committee was appointed to carry out details. Thirtyfivo additional new members weru elected. It was decided to row thr President's Cup race on November 13th. Tho following crows have entored:—W. Woods, L. H. Booth. K. O'Brien, G. Ebert (stroke); F. Cla-k G. Am* Id, T. Booth, W. Clemen* (stroke): h. Hay, W. O'Brien. F. Otley, D. Mahoney (stroke); J. Miles, i\ Booth, J. Blackmore, »S. Mitchell (stroke); A. Hall, H. Allen, H. Bliw, W. Bmggan (etroke).
