♦ The lost mooting of the. Ellesmere Laud Drainage Board was attended by Messrs R. Reiney (acting chairman), Gray, Orborno and Xcil. Correspondence was' read from:—R. Rjith&an, asking permission to erect v cart bridge over the Hclswcll river opposite liis homestead. As so majiy bridges were an expense in getting tJie. dredge P'st, consideration was deterred till nest meeting. R. Forbes, on behalf of the committee having control of tho banks of the river through Tii Tupu township, wrote asking the Board's assistance in inip.roving that p:.rt of the river between the bridges, unless they could sfe their way to dredge it.
