A man of tho name of Naumoff, a Russian, has been arrested on a charge of fatally shooting Count Kamarowski, aVo a Russian, at Venice. The Coimt'u life was insured for JEi'O.OCO in favour of c divorced. Russian, Counter Tarnouska, aged.2(3 years, to whom he was betrothed. Tho htter and her lawyer, one Priiukoff, have been arrested here on a charge of collusion in the murder.
Tho Countess alleges that Naumoff is a yon mmied man, who, being passionately i'"i l° ve v '' tlx 110 - r ' determined to kill Count Karnarowski. She sent i'rilukoff with a detective to protect ih Count, and prevent tho murder. iVilukoff, on tho other hand, has mtdf confession to tho effect that the Countess's oxtravaganco had ruined him ami drivei! him to rob his clients. Sho planned the- murder to obtain Count Komarowskis insurance, Prilukoff and she desiring thereafter to marry. Hβ adds that Nitumoif was a mem tool in her hauds.
