At the Caledonian Hall at 3 o'clock on Sunday afternoon. Air T. E. Taylor will give an address on tho subject of "Old Testament Epoch-making Thoughts." Tht Savage Club's annual supper will tako place in the Chamber of Commerce at S o'clock on Monday night. A meeting of the Tenipleton Rranch of the Farmers' I'nion will be held on Monday, at S p.m., when Mr Taylor, of the Lincoln College staff, will give a lecture on "The Foot or the Hor.se.'' The classrooms and workshops of the Christchurch Teelmicul Colle.go will be open for inspection on Satuiday, September 7th. from 7.30 to S) p.m. A grand military promenade benefit concert, in aid ot the family of the late iSerg.ant Cox, wi.l 1 _• held in the King Edward ilarrucks on Thursday evening next.
