THE WIRE-NETTING INCIDENT.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY BOTH SIDES.
(Received August 29th, 9.27 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 29. Tho Federal Government has issued a writ against the firm of carters who removed the wire netting from the Customs control, whilst tho New South Wales Government has issued writs against the Commonwealth, one in the High Court, claiming a refund on duty paid in 1902, and another in the Supremo Court for a refund of duty paid in June laet.
