NEW CONVENTION SIGNED.
JAPAN TO CONTROL THE ADMINISTRATION.
(Received July 27th. 12.13 a.m.) SEOUL, July 26. After considerable opposition on tlie part of the Korean Court, a now Japanese-Korean Convention has been signed placing the Korean Administration under the guidance of tho Japanese Resident-General, who is authorised to appoint his nominees to all responsible positions.
