The Johannesburg- correspondent of "The Times" states that the main object of the Government's Liquor Bill is to attract a larger number of Kaffirs to the Rand, but the support of the brewere and i certain number of mining men will not suffice to carry the Bill in the face of the growing storm of opposition.
