The Little River Road Board met on Tuesday, when there were present Messrs Buchanaai (chairman), Ha.rri-_. Park bison, and Coop. It waa resolved to give notice of tlie Beard's imtetnition to levy a general rate of Jd in the £ for the current year. Tlio Boarrd also resolvod to tako steps to acquiro suitable quarry -Ueas along the main roads in tlie district. Accounts amounting
to £121 15s were passed for payment. Tho annual meeting of ratopayers was then held. Present—Mr Buchanan (chili rniauv), H. J ahas-ona, J. Barclay. J. Luiuirigan. 11. Smith, W. F. Parkinson, T. O. Coop, and, S. B. Harris.
