It was decided to supply the Tramway Board with two suetchers and fittings. It was reported that closo on a hundred of the 'liiunwuy Board's employuco had agreed to join ambulance classes under Uv Inyiis. Ihe Board had agreed to pay the men's fees on condition that they gave their own lime. It was decided to approve of the following brigade staff for Cantoibury: -District duct surgeon, Dr. H. McL. Inglis; district chief superintendent, .vlr A. S. Lindsay: district superintendent secretary, Air A. Crow; district superintendent of stores, Mr S. Engdahl. Mr Lindsay was for many years connected with the Adelaide Company of tho Australian Army Medical Corps. He has alwuys taken great interest in the Association, and through his influence the men of his company qualified for its certificate. Mr A. Crow wrote suggesting that gold, silver, am! bronze medals should !>r given to the Canterbury students ,0-euring tho highest marks in the Ass;icintion's classes during the present session. Tho matter was referred to n committee. The secretary's report stated that in three months Messrs \Y. Il.iyward and Co. had received forty-seven calls for the ambulances, and £'24 Iwu! been collected in fees. On" hundred nnrl fiftyfour tvomen and 111 men were attending daises in C'h; istchiirch. tlie Ainhorlev women's class had 15 members. Ashburton women's clnss 21, Kninpoi men's class 2."l and women's class 14. Xuknroa (Studholme) women's class 21 md men's cliss 23. Lvtteltnn men's "las* 10. Classes were being formed at Denniston.
