These include Sir F. C. Burnend, late editor of "Punch,"' £200; "Ouide," the well-known novelist, £150; Miss Betham-Edwards, poetess, novel ist and writer on French rural life, an additional £50; Mr John Davidson poet, £100; Mr George llowell, exLabour M.P., £lo0; two granddiughters of Robert Burns, £100.
