United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph— Copyright. NEW YORK, July 7. Rockefeller answered his subpeena in Chicago. He stated that his presi dency of the Standard Oil Trust in New Jersey was purely honorary. He had not taken part in its affaire for eight or ten years, and was without knowledge of its connection with the Indiana Company. His examination, which has concluded, was resultless.
