OAMARU
Uur Uamaru correspondent telegraplis:—A fair amount of wheat changed hands here during last week, probably between 5000 and GOOO sacks. One or two lots were obtained at 4s 4d at country sidings net. btit a much larger quantity was bought at 4s Gd and 4s 7d on trucks at country stations, less commission, and at I7Jd, f.o.b. Oamaru. Sales have aho taken place at longer rails at priooi equivalent to 4e 8d and a trifle ovor. f.o.b. Oamaru. Millers are for wheat, and arc disposed to tako suitable lines, but holders are generally pretty firm in their ideas of values. Oats are very firm, but there arc none in the district, and feed is being procured fiom the South at 2e 1H S\i trucks at Gore, or 3s Id to 3s 3d, ex store Oamaru.
