Mr Millar, who was in excellent voice, scored a decided siiecrrs in Gounod's difficult so-n.g "Vulcan." which was given with considerable power and effect. For a firr-l enooro Ih> gave "The Deep Cold Sen," which he ean.g we.ll, and he was equally ■successful in his second encore number. i ''Kings of the Rrrad." Mr Alfred Bunz ! played a piano soio, Chopin's ''Ra'.lado !in A Flat Major." with much delicacy I aflid expression, and was encored. Of the part songs fchoee deserving special ■mention were "A Vintage Son.g," "The Frog,' , "Sweet and Low," and "Tlie Soldier's Farewell." Dt. Bradphaw conducted, and Dr. Crooko accompanied.
