The sale was about equal to that of the previous week, prime steer beef making 23s to 255, ana medium 2Qs to 22s 6d per lOOlb. A lino of 21 steers from p. 3>. Giles (Mount Parnassus) topped tho market at £9 15s to £11 17s Gd, and 14 steers from Hawkswood mode £8 15$ to £0 12s 6d. Other steers brought £6 10a to £11, heifers £4 12s 6d to £7, and ;oows £4 123 6d to £7 12s 6d. A good yarding of veal calves cold at 4s Gd to 42a 6d, according to site and quality. STORE AND DAIRY CATTLE. There was a sm.all mixed entry of store cattle, for which there was a poor sale. Small yearliugs made 7s, 15 to 18 mouths 20s, three-year steers passed at £4 ss, dry cows 20s to 30b. There was a fair demand for good dairy cows, which sokl at £7 to £9 2s 6d, ordinary eorta £3 to £6. PIGS. There was a moderate yarding of pigs, and a keen demand for all claseee, and prices all round showed a decided advance. Daconers mnde 50s to 70s for heavy, and 44s to 49s for lighter, equal to 5d to 5Jd per lb; porkers 35a to 4&s, equal to 6d to 6id; medium stores 20s to 265, small 12a to 19s, and iveaners Gβ to lie Cd.
