Tho fences around the rerd ponds, and a quantity of odd timber, woro also disposed of at satisfactory prices. For tho convenience of farmers and country buyers, next week's sale of rocive ed matni.il from the buildings wil' bo held on Saturday. June 15th, at 11 a.m. The model of tho stern of Nelson's flagship, the Victory, which occupied a prominent position at the cor;-ido>-end of the north gallery, ha* now been taken to pieces and removed. The dismantling of the Cyrilorama is proceeding, but tho work involved is of a very heavy nature. The Builders and Contractors' Association of Canterbury havo written to the Government asking if the person in charge of the dismantling work at the Exhibition buildings has a contract for the work, and, if so, they desire to know why tenders were not invited.
