Tho demand for well finiehed sheep was good, but inferior sorts wer© hard to quit. In good aorta the price was quite oqua/I to Jato values, amd If anything, showed, en advaruoe of Is per head! Quotations were:—Best wethers 20s 6d to 24s BtL extra to 28e, medium 18s to 21s, light lfia to 19s, extra heavy ewes to 23s 9d, good IBs to 20s, medium to good 15e to 19s. hsmba--There was an excellent en*fciy.wt lamb*, both in quality and quantity, and aocordingly the demaiod was gpod. Catt_- T The ywding in fat oabtile was amaWi, but thie was made up of excei_e_t quality, and the prices obteiaed were better than has been the case for some weeks. Quotations were:—Best oattle uip to £12 7a 6d, medium to good were sold up to £9 15a, light to £6 7s, best heifers £6 10s to £8. Pige-A _ma_ yard)in« of pi»» was offered, amd the quality waa hardly equal to late en*trias, aMbough a pen or two of good porkers brought <_ood values. Quotations were .--Suokers 6s to 9a, e_i_»»s to 13e, stores to 20s, porketti 30s to 38s, baconer* 40s to 60s, heavy baooners up to £3.
