COALGATE.
At Coala;ato sale on Thursday thero was a very full yarding, 15,700 sheep and lambs coming to hand, of which 9000 wero ewes (merino and crossbred-) and (5000 lambs, the balance being mado up of wethers, with a few rams. Tho bulk of the entry was station linos, but, thero was a good number of dealers' lot*. "Lambs formed practically tho whole of tiio yarding of fats, three or four small lots of fat crossbred ewea making up the balance. The lambs, with few exceptions, were good free_er«. Thero was a good attendance of farmers, but only a few freezing buyers. Bidding for fat lamlns at auction was very slow, a number of lota being passed, which were, however, plaocd privately afterwards near owners' reserves, being in come cases an advance of from la to I.s <5d per head on the best bid at auction. There was good competition for all young and forward lines of ewes, and for forward rapo lambs, but backward and Aged sheep were dull of sale, a number of lots Ik>ing withdrawn. -Sales wore:—Fat lamlis 15s 8d to IGs 9d, lighter sorts 1 Is 3d to 14s lid, fat crossbred ewes 12s Od to lis 7d. two-tooth halfbred wethers 13s Gd to 15s, two-tooth crossbred wethers 12s lOd. rape lambs 12s to 13s 6d, shorn 9s sd, (store lambs 7s Gd to 10s lid, halfbred wether lamha 8s Id, ewes lis. two-tooth halfbred ewea 20s Od. hix-tooth 16s 3d, failing mouth 9s Gd to 9s Bd, two-tooth crossbred ewea 15s to 17s Gd, sound-mouth 14s 8d to 14s Od. failing mouth 10s Gd to 10s 9d, aged 5s 9d to 7s 6d. two-tooth three-
