Tho Auckland-owned scow Bravo, bound from Kaipara to Gisborne, ran ashoro about 14 miles to the eastward of Capo Maria Van Diemen on Thursday morning last. Tho Bravo left Kaipara on Tuesday last, with a cargo of timber for Poverty Bay ports. The vessel was buffeted about throughout tho night, and gomeirhere about 5 a.m. sho was carried ashore by tho sea and tho gnlo, and was piled up on a hard, sandy beach. The crew all landed safely, but the master, Captain C. Wilson, who only recently came out of the hospital, is reported as very ill. The Bravo was a vessel of 44 tons register, and was owned by Messrs A. Tankard, Jaggar, and another.
