In consequence of the representative toiini having left by the South express for Dunedin on Saturctiy To play against. OLago this week, and the Seemid Grade trial match, the Canterbury Cricket Association declared all ■matches in the first two grades off, hut the Third Grade matches commenced at Lancaster Park earlier in the month, but unfinished, were brought to a conclusion, when the weather was beautifully fine, and the wickets in good order.
