CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.
Christmas Day.—A close holiday will be observed at all post offices. Mails for despatch on 25th inst. will close at 8 p.m. on 24th inst. Boxing Day, 26th December.—Poet OfAcne will bs open in all branches, except the"_etoney Order and Savings Bsnk Department, from 9 to 10 a.m/, and the usual despatch of mails will be made up to 9.30 a.n> January Ist (New Year's Day).—A close holiday will be observed at all poet offices Mails for despatch on January Ist will close at 8 p.m. on December 31st. On evenings of 24th and 31st inst. a delivery of all correspondence will be made over the Chief Poet Office counter, between 7 and 8 p.m. Only one delivery by lettercarriers will be made on December J&t__ starting at 8 am.
