EGG LAYING COMPETITIONS.

LINCOLN. The total number of eggs laid in the Utility Poultry Club's Competition, Lincoln College, for the week ended November Uth was 1978, making a grand total to dato of 29,091. The host layings for tho week wero:—Mrs Gordon (Clive), Brown Leghorns, 34; A. J. McEiitco (Christchurch), Silver Wyandottes, 32; A. E. Lawrence (Christchurch), Brown Leghorns, 32; C. R. Wilson (Chris-church), Black Minorcas, 32; J. Jackman (Christchurch), Silver Wyandottes, 31; T. FYethcy (Wanganui), Rose Comb Whito Leghorns, 31; H. E. M. Evans (Christchurch), Silver Wyandottes, 30. The highest totals to dato are:—M. Blanch 684, J. Ashton 540, F. O'Brien 512, Mrs Gordon 409, H. Walton 455, H. Pannell (Buff Leghorns) 445. J. Jackman 443, G. H. Barnett 415, A. L. Webster 40R, A. Petrio 407, C. R. Wilson (Black Orpingtons) 405, Mrs J. Mills 401.
