As was generally anticipated, €ho attendance, yesterday touched highwater mark. During the day 19,527 people paid for admi-sion at th© various turnstiles, tlvo money taken amounting to _:92_ Gs 6d. Tbe.-e figuros liardly eoora afi largo as was expected, but it must bo remembered that they do uot include either passengers by nail or holders of pa.-nes. Then again, this year being "E.-chibition Year" an large number of complimentary tickets were issued. \Vhen these have been added to the total, it will bo found that the attendance was a rooord for th© show. Last yoar on People's Day 15,943 wore admitted, and £733 la 6d was taken in. cash.
