I "PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at J- a Special Meeting of the CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL, held on the 17th day of September, 1908. it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Christchurch - City Council make a By-law under "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the object and purport of which By-law are as follows:— To provide for the administration of Water • .Works belonging to the Council; the conditions under which connections may be wade with the said Water Works.; the reflation of the supply of water , from the said Water Works to persons requiring the time, both as to ordinary 8 and extraordinary supplies; the conditions under and subject to which water , may be used and enjoyed or cut off; tho rates and charges to be made and levied in respect of the said supplies respectively; tho licensing of plumbers, and to provide penalties in respect of 1 breaches of tho By-law.
