A TERRIBLE TRAGEDY.
FATE OF AN AFGHAN'S EUROPEAN WIFE. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 13th, 10.7 p.m.) ADELAIDE, August 13. Tin's morning a horse with a bloodstained buggy was found wandering i n North Adelaide in tho vicinity of Lake Toi-reni*. While tho police, were ei*oquiring into tho affair an Afghan named Natella Hnbibulla arrived at the watchhouse and reported that his horse had bolted. Ho was arrested on suspicion, and his house disclosed evidences of a shocking tragedy. Blood stains were found all over the building and yard, but thero wore no signs of a body. Tho police proceeded to the lake, and after dragging secured a sack containing a woman's lower limbs. It is believed that Natella murdered his wife during tho night and cut tho body up, and was disposing of the remains when the horse bolted. The murdered woman was a European named Nellie Manson, and married Natella a few months since. (Received August Mt-h, 1.8 p.m.) ADELAIDE, August 13. The sack contained the whole body, dismembered and horribly mutilated. Though the scene of tho crime is a thiokly populated neighbourhood, no quarrelling or other sound was heard. Natella apparently lived on good! terms with his wife.
