Tuscan ir/inquired for, but the only salo of a straight lino reported was at 3s Gd, at a siding, less a commission, tho sample being a high-class one. Velvet, of good quality, has been sold in small parcels at 3s 3d, and in one case a penny moro was conceded, the line being tho largest , t%it has changed hands for about a j mouth. Red chaff has been sold at 3s 3d, and 3s 4Jd was obtained for , a special sample. Seconds are in im- j proved demand at up to 3s for Tuscan. > Garten oats have been sold at 2s 2d ' and 2s 3}d for special samples. Of j Danish, only one sale has been reported ' at 2s lid. Potatoes are still quoted obovo rates ruling in other markets, holders declining anything less than £9, at which price business is only for local consumption! ,
