THE NEW HEBRIDES.

AUSTRALIA RECEIVES A REPI/9 FROM ENGLAND. United Press Association—By EJeotrio Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, June 27. Mr Deakin states that a reply has been received In connection with" the representations in regard to the Now Hebrides. The reply calls attention to the fact that the recent representations made on behalf of NewZealand and tJio Commonwealth have not yet been reoeived in Great Britain. "It is supposed," said Mr Doakin, "that we have asked for corta-in alterations of the proposed agreement with Franco. That is correct, and it is suggested it would impede our endeavour to give effect to the alterations if the Imperial Government wore called upon to publish the full text of the agreement. In these circumstances I do not propose to press for publication at present."
