prices, which they confidently believo will bo ruling before long. Though the price of wheat, han go-no up cninsidcrably as compared with prices ruling thre\> months ago, there has so ra.r been no increase, here in the prke ot flour, which stiH stands at £8 10s per ton in sacks, £0 in 10 : ) lb bags, £j ne in oOlb hags, and to £9 10s in 2-slb bags, these being the quotations. Br.in is still felling at £'3 los, pollard at £5, and oaimoal at £11 per ton in each o.v*!. Tho market ior oats is firm, with a poed enquiry, at up to 2s Id for Duns, Gartoius 2e, and Danish Is lid, on trucks, country station*;. Chi'jk wheat ifi woi t-U 3s 21d, f.0.b..p.i. Tho demand for psmtc<w> has in no way on» : od, but is, if anything, rather keener than io ir.w, and notwithstanding that importations are being madf' both into the Nerth and South Isluiul-, there is no difficulty in obtaining £10 per ton for Uie tuber.
