MR KIPLING ON CHINESE LABOUR.
Mr Rtidyard Kipling, writing from Johannesburg to a. tYieiid, says:— "Tiling^ , are bewiideringly bad here. Tlie whole of the Chinese slavery agitation -makes mo eick when I think of some English cottages, their sanitation, and the food there. If only the fools would come out and see for thoir crazy selves."
