Relative to tho Accident In.suranot , fund, the Canterbuiy Union wrote defliiiing to admit the" North Canterbury Union to financial benefits, and stating that a committee ]iad boon appointed to draft rules affecting the regulation of sub-unions. It was "resolved that at j present the North Canterbury Union wa-s not financially able to conduct a. fund ot its own. It was agreed that if each player would pay sixpence- per match to an laccident fund one should ba started, compensation being equal to 20(? a week, with a limit of five weeks. A committen consisting cf tho President, Messrs F. A. Macboan and C. A. Cuff were appointed to interview the doctors of the district in regard to giving free treatment to all football aecidente. Complaints have been made of the uee of bad language at one of tho matches.
