The clerk was instructed to ascertain whether the 10.-10 a.m. mail would not still be carried. It wa« resolved to give permission to the- New Brighton Beautifying Association to form two onclo-ure.H on tho Beach adjoining the Esplanade, near tho Pier. The town clerk was «-■ to interview the owner of a property on the River road, with a viewof purchosiua a small piece of land as an addition to the footpath. At tho Mayor's Miggo>tion it was decided to hold a mooting of tlip whole Council in committee, to discuss the work and expenditure for the present yoar.
