OBITUARY.
On the morning of Gocd Friday there pas-ed away, iai her eightieth year, a very old settler in tlio iktsoji of Mrs T. M. Martin, widow of the lato Mr Thoniiis M. M.artin. In earlier dn.ys Miw .Martin and her family ivore well known in the social and political life of Criruerrmry, hut of l;vte years her health had laik'd, and slio hud linxl practically in retirement. She leaves one eon, a }>arrister now practising in Auckland. Mrs Martin was hiiriwl on S.i.;urday afternoon in I'iccarton Churchyard.
