The "Statist" mentions that £20,000, 000 of Australian money has recently reached London for investment, and states that the socialistic legislation and the attitude ot the Labour Party and tho Ministers of the Crown have disquieted property holders. The in reply to this state that it is truo that some Aufitralian money lias recently been employed in London, but that it is incred'iblo that £20,000,000 can have been remitted. The trade returns do not show it. There is not tho slightest justification for tho statement that tho squatters and tho financial companies have been compelled to take less for resumed lands than they are worth. The method of'fixing compensation ie most equitable.
