The in reply to this state that it is truo that some Aufitralian money lias recently been employed in London, but that it is incred'iblo that £20,000,000 can have been remitted. The trade returns do not show it. There is not tho slightest justification for tho statement that tho squatters and tho financial companies have been compelled to take less for resumed lands than they are worth. The method of'fixing compensation ie most equitable.
