THE ANGLICAN ATTITUDE.

A WARNING TO THE ARCHBISHOP

OF CANTERBURY

LONDON, April 12. Thirty-two bishops in England and Wales, at a conference at Lambeth, resolved that the Education Bill as it stands must be unhesitatingly opposed. "The Times" states that Mr AY. Runcinian, speaking at Newcastle, warned the Archbishop of Canterbury that if ho attompted to use tho House of Lords as in 1902, in the hope of wrecking tho wishes of tho Commons, it would make tho disestablishment of the Church inevitable, and shake the House of Lords to its foundations.
