Inreply, Mr McLachian warmly thanked the corny pany for the compliment they were pay-, SJSI ing him, and said ho would always; loyal to Mr Seddon (who, ho conddered, '{-pm had done more for New Zealand any other man living), and to thie people S|p of- Ashburton.
