RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Canterbury Native* Rifles fired a match on Saturday afternoon at 200 and 500 yards for trophies presented by the Corps. Lance-CorporsJ Gill took first prize with a score of GO, Private Malmvnohe second, and Sergeant Baldwin third. Thie match ooneludes an aggregate ovor three matches for a- gold medal presented by » member of the Company. The following are the highest aggregate scores:— Laace-Corporil Gill 144, Corporal Fleming: 141, Corporal Mayahard 140, Corporal Foster 125. Lanoc-Cor-poral Payton 125, Private Gadd 119. and Sergeant Bauiwin 111. Sergeant Baldwin. Corporal Foster, and Private Gadd missed ono match each.
