THURSDAY v SATURDAY PLAYERS.

A natch was played at Hagley Park yesterday between tno first grade Thutpday players and the 6econd grade Saturday playere, when the former won by 89 runs. Scores:—Saturday Players 256 (Atkinson 41, Weston 38, Hart 29, McLeod 23 not.out, Day 18, Saston 16, Gasson 14, J. Homer 14, Crawp'-iv 12, Kinvig 11, and Pritcbard 21). -jmas

secured most of the wickets. The Thursday. Players responded -with 345, Mahar contributing: 127 i'homas 124, Page 58, and Petrie 12). Kinvig, McLeod, and Crawshaw bowled best for the losers. The Thursday Second Grade and Saturday Third Grade Players also met at Hagley Park, when the latter won by 13 runs en the first innings. Scores:— Saturday team 170 (W.. Carter -18 not out, Lavery 25, G. Wilson 24, Mann 23. Brooker 11 ? and Tennent 10) and 227 for seven wickets (lienn 72, Lavery 44 nob out, Wilson 34, Brooker 25, and Tennent 18); Thursday team 157 (Blackmore 64. Barrington 31, Bcoker 29, and Butler 13). Brinsden and Tennent bowled well for the winners, and King and Btackmore secured most wickets for the losers.
