The Union Company's new turbine liner Mnheno easily broke the record between Lyttclton and Wellington on Friday, by making the trip from full speed io stop in 9 hours 45 minutes, and from Lyttelton Heads to Wellington Heade in 9 honre 11 minute*. The vessel oleared Godley Head at 8.2 p.m. on Friday, and paeeed Penoon-ow at 5.13 on Saturday morning.
