-♦ SPRING SPORTS MEETING. The annual spring sports meeting of the Pioneer Amateur Bicycle,and Athletic Club was held at Lancaster Park on Saturday. There was only g very . poor ettend<ance of spectators. The events were _ admirebly managed by the following officials:—Referee, Sir J. F. Gnerson; track judges, Messrs J. F. Wachemann and T. H. North; field and walking judges, Messrs H. S. liatchelor, A. L. timith, C. Ikm-Joy, and J. W. Stubberfield; tinickoepor, Mr E. H. Jainee; hendicappers, Messrs P. Menzics and F. S. Hurley; starter, Mr C. T. Aechnian; etewards and marksmen, Messrs F. H. Salter and M. G. Wauchop; Preys steward, Mr T. H. North; secretary, Mr J. E. Green. Young 140 yds also started, kelligan held the others easily throughout, and repeating his triumph of Easter last won comfortably, finishing fresh ar.d well.
